Ingredients

  • 2x Cheerie Lane Butter Popcorn Cobs
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning mix
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 cup clarified butter (or melted butter)
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke

Instructions

    Pop the Cheerie Lane Butter Popcorn Pods according to package instructions. Pour the popped popcorn into a large bowl.

    In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder.

    Melt the butter, then let it cool slightly. Carefully separate and pour off the clear melted layer (clarified butter) into a small bowl.

    Stir the liquid smoke into the clarified butter.

    Drizzle the butter mixture over the popcorn and toss well to coat evenly.

    Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the popcorn and toss again until evenly distributed.
